Although I was really impressed with the first two yachts (what's not to like about them, seriously?) I vote for Endless Summer for a couple of reasons. 1) I like the name. 2) If I had a yacht (at which point pigs would most likely begin to fly) I would probably decorate it similarly to what has been done here. I like the more traditional style of cabinetry - it feels "warmer" than the Norwegian Queen and the Solemates was just so huge it appeared to be more like a hotel than anything else. I could get used to ordering my drinks from the iPad though. Stirred, not shaken, if you please! And 3) The Jacuzzi. Something about being in the water while on the water appeals to me. So there you have it!

Oh man! Nine cats?? That's something else. I have two and they're already enough to keep up with.

I'm right there with you on being lazy on certain things to free up time to do things you actually like. Getting things to take care of themselves so you don't have to isn't just a choice ... it's a frickin lifestyle. How else do you think I have time to even run this blog? :)

Clap on! Clap off! I totally remember the commercials. It wasn't THAT long ago...

The iPhone's Siri is pretty damn impressive (is that what your son has?) The fact that it can pick up on semantics well is a real stride towards VR becoming a mainstream technology.

I'm desperately searching for any examples of someone who's managed to integrate Siri (or similar) into their home.

Umm if you're 23 how do you remember The Clapper? Just sayin'!

My 11 year old son uses the VR to google random things on his phone - like Pokemon games and what their current market value may be.

Personally, I like to think that the people (and animals) recognize my voice even though they do not seem to respond to it overly much. Which is OK because I have a lovely speaking voice and I truly enjoy listening to myself. Maybe I should put it to better use....

OK I will go check it out after I make sure the cats haven't tipped over the christmas tree - again.

I do not endorse Daniel Graig as Bond, although he was pretty good in the bits I saw of him in Die Another Day. Oh and did I mention I am a HUGE Sean Connery fan?

I am now trying to come up with Things I would Like My Cats To Do Themselves. Having 9 of the beasts, they could be useful 1) if they weren't sleeping 2/3 of the day and 2) if they could do something useful.

I will see what you have that can help, thusfar the only things that I have automated here are the lights for the fishtank, snake and hermit crabs. But being basically lazy I am open to new ideas which will allow me more time to respond to blogs like this one.

Thanks!

Ha! I'm actually with you there. Connery is CLASSIC bond... pretty much the gold standard. I'm curious - what's your verdict on Daniel Craig's Bond?

Now the important bit - how am I going to introduce you to DIY home automation? Check it out right here -- http://homeautomationgeek.com/classified-kill-syndrome-challenge/ And I kid you not - you can absolutely get your cats to work the home automation.

See you there!
